How to Find us?

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs between Grosmont in the north and Pickering in the south.

Grosmont is located in the Esk valley on the northern edge of the North York Moor, some 6 miles from Whitby. It is on the BR line between Whitby and Middlesbrough. It can be reached by road by taking one of the signposted turnings off the A 171 that runs between Whitby and Guisbrough.

Pickering is a market town on the southern edge of the moor. It has no BR rail link but is on the A 170 between Scarbrough and Kirbymoorside. Alternatively if you turn off the A 64 trunk road at Malton it is about 7 miles north of the roundabout.

Once Railtrack get their finger out and start running trains again!

Why not leave the car at home and try public transport instead!!
