The principle activity of the Trust is to advance the education of the public in the history and development of railway locomotion by the maintenance in working order of the historic and scenic railway line between Grosmont and Pickering.
Why not become a member of the Trust and help to keep our magnificent railway alive.
Members receive our quarterly magazine Moors Line free of charge as well as being able to travel on the Railway at discount fares.
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has a small nucleus of paid staff, but it is largely operated by volunteers. By becoming a Member of the Trust you could help to run the railway should you so wish. Whether your interest is in engineering, the operating of the trains, shops, tea rooms or signaling, we've a role to suit everyone. Even if you cannot help in this way your support by becoming a Member will help us to keep the Railway running in the years ahead.
